White-Label Branding

Apply your own company name, logos, colors, custom domain, sign-in page, and support details to Atlas AVD so your customers see your managed service, and more.

Before you begin

  • MSP Capabilities (white-label branding is included with MSP Capabilities only)
  • An administrator role
  • Your primary tenant selected in the Tenant Selector (Atlas Command runs from it)

Where branding lives

Open Atlas Command (the Command entry under Atlas Operations in the sidebar) and select the Branding tab. The tab opens with a short summary of what it controls: your branding applies to the app shell, the sign-in page, outbound emails, and PDF reports, and nothing on this tab changes how desktops, host pools, or sessions behave. Beside the settings, a Preview panel shows your branding on the App Shell, Sign-In, Emails, and Reports as you edit.

Branding Settings: the setup checklist

Branding Settings lists each white-label item with its status (Configured, Pending, or Not configured) and a progress count. Expand a row to edit it:

  • Company name: the Company Display Name that replaces "Atlas AVD" in the sidebar, page titles, emails, and report headers (up to 80 characters), plus a short Slug used in links and report file names. Your customers' devices show the name too, in the endpoint agent's prompts and messages.
  • Logos & favicon: Logo (Light Mode) and Logo (Dark Mode) as PNG, SVG, or WEBP up to 2 MB, a Favicon as ICO or PNG up to 512 KB, and a Login Background Image as JPG, PNG, or WEBP up to 5 MB.
  • Brand colors: Primary, Secondary, and Accent hex colors, with a live preview. Atlas warns you when a color falls below WCAG AA contrast (4.5:1).
  • Custom domain: see below.
  • Support contacts: Support Email, Support Phone, Support Hours, Support URL, Terms of Service URL, Privacy Policy URL, and a Documentation URL that in-app help links point to.
  • Email sender: the From Name and From Address for outbound mail, and the Report Footer printed on PDF reports, with previews of both.

Custom domain

Enter a hostname such as desktop.yourmsp.com (no https://) and click Save Domain. Atlas shows the CNAME record to add at your DNS provider and marks the domain Pending Verification until the record resolves; use Revalidate to check again. Custom domains must be unique across all Atlas AVD instances.

TLS for the branded hostname is provisioned at your infrastructure (Azure Front Door, Cloudflare, or your load balancer), not by Atlas. This is distinct from binding a custom domain and certificate to the Atlas App Service itself, which is covered in Add a Custom Domain.

Email sender verification

Your From Address is used only after Atlas confirms you own its domain: add the DNS TXT record shown under the address and verify it. Until then the row shows Pending and mail goes out from the Atlas AVD default address. So receiving servers accept your mail, also publish SPF, DKIM, and DMARC records for the domain with the mail provider configured under Settings → Email.

Advanced settings

Under Advanced Settings, all optional and safe to leave alone:

  • Sign-in page: the logo, headline, feature cards, and layout customers see before they sign in. It is shown only on your verified custom domain.
  • Vault share notification: the email a recipient gets when a credential or document is shared from Atlas Vault.
  • Sidebar labels: rename sidebar items to match your own terminology.
  • Custom CSS: small style overrides for fine-tuning. Atlas sanitizes the CSS before applying it and tells you if anything was removed.
  • Atlas AVD attribution: whether the "Powered by Atlas AVD" badge appears to your customers.

Hiding Atlas AVD branding

Under Advanced Settings → Atlas AVD attribution, the "Hide Atlas AVD branding" switch removes the "Powered by Atlas AVD" badge from the sidebar, outbound emails, and PDF reports, so the platform presents cleanly as your own.

The Atlas Command master switch

Under Instance controls, the "Atlas Command enabled" switch is what makes your account the MSP control plane: when it is on, your branding is applied, your custom domain resolves to your instance, and administrators on the account can manage every customer tenant. Turning it off makes the app, emails, and reports fall back to Atlas AVD defaults, but nothing is deleted, and turning it back on restores everything exactly as it was. Changes on the tab take effect when you click Save Settings, and the tab keeps a history of who changed the branding and when.

Plan and access

White-label branding comes with MSP Capabilities, the optional upgrade to Atlas AVD; it is not on Community, or on Atlas AVD without the upgrade. If your license does not include white-label, the Branding tab is read-only: you can review the settings, but saving, uploads, and domain changes are unavailable until you upgrade.
