Autoscaling brings handler capacity online as demand rises, and Adaptive Quota™ checks regional Azure quota first so a large ramp does not fail part way through. When the backlog clears, idle host detection and scheduling make sure the surge capacity does not quietly become permanent.

Yes. Adjusters connect through the Atlas user portal in a browser, and Smart Connect™ recommends the most responsive desktop available to them, which is more forgiving of a poor connection than dragging application data across a VPN.

Inside your own Azure subscription. Atlas deploys via ARM templates into your tenant and holds no policy or claims data outside it.

How do we give brokers and MGAs access safely?

Partners get their own scoped host pools and Entra ID groups, so their access is separated from the corporate estate, conditional, and revocable, with every environment change recorded.
