Before you begin
- A Atlas AVD subscription with at least two connected tenants (see Managing Multiple Customer Tenants)
- Access to the tenants you want to switch between
The Tenant Selector
The Tenant Selector sits in the top header bar, next to your profile menu, and shows the organization you are currently in. Opening it shows a Select Tenant list of the tenants you can access, each with its organization name and tenant domain, and a Primary badge on your primary tenant. A small amber dot beside a tenant means its cost data is stale or missing; hover it for details and a link to Cost Intelligence.
Switching re-scopes the whole app
When you select a tenant, the entire console re-scopes to it: host pools, sessions, users, cost, and reports all reflect the selected tenant, and Atlas starts a background sync of that tenant's host pools so what you see is current (a spinning icon in the selector shows the sync is running). Each switch you make is recorded in the audit log, so there is a clear trail of who moved into which tenant and when.
There is always exactly one tenant selected
Atlas does not have an "All Tenants" mode. A concrete tenant is always active: if none is selected, Atlas selects your primary tenant automatically. This keeps every action unambiguously attributed to one tenant. With MSP Capabilities, when you need to look across every tenant at once, switch back to your primary tenant and open Atlas Command: its Overview and Fleet NOC tabs are the fleet-wide views. Atlas Command only appears in the sidebar while your primary tenant is selected.
If you don't see the selector
The selector only becomes a dropdown when your plan includes multi-tenant management and you have access to more than one tenant. Otherwise the header shows the organization name as a static label. Administrators can limit which tenants a user can access, so a user who is scoped to one tenant sees the static label even on a multi-tenant plan. If the header shows No tenant, your session is stale: reload the page, or sign out and back in.
