Before you begin
- An Atlas AVD admin sign-in
- At least one synced host pool, for pool-related widgets to show data
The widget grid
Your widgets appear in the Overview section of the Dashboard. Every widget is the same size, so the grid stays tidy. The grid is always editable: drag a widget by the grip beside its title to move it, and click its ✕ to remove it. There is no separate edit mode to switch on first.
Two buttons in the header tidy the grid. Snap packs every widget tightly together and closes any gaps. Reset swaps your widgets for the default set (VM Status, Environment Health, Recent Activity and more) in their original layout.
The Dashboard refreshes automatically every 60 seconds while the browser tab is visible, and pauses when the tab is hidden.
Adding widgets
Click Add Widget to open the widget gallery. Filter it by category (All, Monitoring, Cost, Operations, Security, Compliance, Atlas Reach) or search by name, then click Add to Dashboard on each widget you want, or Select all to add every widget in the current view. Click Done to return to the Dashboard.
- The gallery holds several dozen widgets, including Active Alerts, Sessions Summary, VM Status, Cost Burn, Cost Savings, Session History, Drain Mode Insights, AVD Agent Health, User Experience Score, Idle Spend Detector, Patch Compliance and Environment Health.
- Host Pool Widgets, further down the page, pin a live session-and-capacity tile for an individual host pool.
- Atlas Reach Device Widgets pin a live CPU, memory, GPU, disk and uptime tile for an individual enrolled device.
A widget your plan, role or connected integrations don't cover shows Upgrade required, Permission required or Integration required instead of the Add to Dashboard button.
Saved and premade dashboards
The dashboard switcher, the first of the header buttons, shows which dashboard you're on (Default Dashboard until you pick another). Use it to switch between your own dashboards, dashboards shared with you, and the premade dashboards.
- Save stores the current widget arrangement as a new named dashboard. On a saved dashboard, Save updates it and Save As copies it into a new one.
- Premade dashboards (Financial, Operations, Performance, Security, Compliance and Executive) create a ready-made board with one click, which you can then rearrange like any other.
- Rename… and Delete dashboard… in the switcher manage dashboards you own.
When saving, choose a visibility: Private, Shared with admins, or Share with specific users. Only admins can pick the two sharing options. Anyone you share with sees the dashboard under Shared with me, read-only.
Host pools
The full host pool list has its own page: open Host Pools in the Workspace section of the sidebar. It offers Table, Card and Operations views (Operations shows only Warning and Critical pools), search, region and status filters, Show only unhealthy, sorting, and Export CSV. Each pool shows its status, sessions against capacity and running VMs, and links to the pool's detail page.
Favorites
Star a host pool to pin it: favorited pools sort to the top of the Host Pools list. The star next to a page title, including the Dashboard's, adds that page to the Favorites list in the sidebar.
